1999 SRT Viper GTS ACR

It really doesn’t take much to optimize the Dodge Viper for track duty, but Dodge decided to make it easier starting in 1999 by offering the “American Club Racing” version of the Viper coupe, ready off the lot for autocross and road racing duties. Thanks to improved breathing, the engine puts out a total of 460 horsepower, and the removal of road ancillaries deemed unnecessary for track use were tossed. With less weight, more power, and the addition of stiffer adjustable suspension, the Viper GTS ACR is a turn-key racing solution that doesn’t skimp on performance—the 8-liter V10 can catapult this Dodge to 60 mph in a hair over 4 seconds, and pull nearly a full lateral G in a skidpad. With that kind of performance, you can guarantee that the Viper GTS ACR won’t be boring in the least.
