The 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo represents the highest level of performance the 944 model line ever reached. For 1989, the 944 Turbo retained all the features of the 944 Turbo S, except the “S”. The ”S” model was built to the specifications of Porsche’s European Cup car. This included 30 more horsepower, larger brakes, larger sway bars, a limited-slip differential, and ABS.
